Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") govern the use of the Meety online booking system ("Service" or "System") provided by Panda & LL s. r. o.

(hereinafter referred to as the "Provider" or "Meety").

2. Definition of Terms

  • Site: The website operated by the Provider, available at meety.so and any associated domains.
  • User (or Service Provider): A business, professional, or facility owner who uses the Site to offer services or rentals.
  • Client: A natural person or legal entity who books or purchases services from a User through the Site.
  • Service/Performance: A good, service, or rental offered by a User on the Site.
  • Reservation: An electronic confirmation of a time-limited right for a Client to receive a Service from a User.
  • Reservation with Payment: A Reservation for which the Client pays the price of the Service in advance through the Site.

3. Subject of the Agreement

3.1. The Meety system is an electronic reservation platform that allows Clients to book Services offered by Users. The booking form is accessible on the Site, the User's own website, social media pages, and partner portals. The system is accessible from various devices, including PCs, tablets, and smartphones.

3.2. The Provider undertakes to ensure the proper functioning of the System, provide technical support, and assist Users with setup and integration.

3.3. The User undertakes to use the System in accordance with these GTC, provide accurate information about their services, and keep their schedules and availability up to date. The User is responsible for all content they publish through the System.

3.4. The Provider may use third-party services to provide certain functionalities of the System. The Provider is not responsible for malfunctions caused by these third parties.

3.5. The Provider is not responsible for the quality of the Services provided by the Users. Meety acts as an intermediary platform. Any disputes regarding the Service provided must be resolved between the User and the Client.

4. Reservations and Payments

4.1. Users can offer "Reservations with Payment," requiring Clients to pay for the Service in advance. The User defines their own cancellation policies in the System's administrative interface.

4.2. All payment operations for Reservations with Payment are processed through the Provider's designated payment gateway. By making a payment, the Client authorizes the Provider to collect the funds on behalf of the User.

4.3. Payments are transferred to the User's account according to the agreed-upon schedule, minus any applicable fees.

4.4. The User, as the seller of the Service, is responsible for issuing all necessary tax documents (invoices) to the Client.

4.5. The Provider is responsible only for the proper processing of the payment and the timely delivery of the reservation confirmation.

5. Pricing and Fees

5.1. The use of the Meety system by Users is subject to a pricing plan as detailed on the Site or in a separate agreement. Fees may be based on a subscription model or a commission per transaction.

5.2. The Provider reserves the right to change the pricing and fees. Users will be notified of any changes in advance. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Data Protection (GDPR)

6.1. The User is the "Data Controller" and the Provider (Meety) is the "Data Processor" for the personal data of Clients collected through the System.

6.2. The Provider will process personal data (such as name, email, phone number) only on behalf of the User and in accordance with their documented instructions (these GTC) and for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.3. The User is responsible for ensuring they have a legal basis for collecting and processing Client data and for fulfilling all data subject rights under the GDPR.

6.4. The Provider implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data.

6.5. The User grants the Provider general authorization to use third-party sub-processors (e.g., for hosting, email delivery, payment processing). The Provider will maintain a list of sub-processors and inform the User of any changes, giving the User the opportunity to object.

7. Rights and Obligations of the User

7.1. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

7.2. The User agrees not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

7.3. The User must provide accurate information about their services, including descriptions, pricing, and cancellation policies.

7.4. The User must honor all confirmed bookings made through the System.

8. Rights and Obligations of the Provider

8.1. The Provider will ensure the continuous and proper functioning of the Service, excluding planned maintenance or circumstances beyond its control.

8.2. The Provider has the right to suspend or terminate a User's account if they violate these GTC, without a refund.

8.3. The Provider reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties. The Provider is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including lost profits or data. The Provider's liability is limited to the amount paid by the User for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

10.1. The User can terminate their use of the Service at any time in accordance with their subscription plan.

10.2. The Provider can terminate the agreement with a User for a breach of these GTC.

10.3. Upon termination, the Provider will delete the User's data in accordance with its data retention policy.

11. Modifications to Terms

Meety reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or within the application. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Final Provisions

12.1. These GTC are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.

12.2. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Slovakia.

12.3. These GTC constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Provider.
