Team Members
Learn how to add, edit and remove team members in your business. Find out how to set basic information and permissions.
Team members are people who provide services in your business, or people who otherwise manage your business (for example, a receptionist who creates reservations for others). In this guide, you'll learn how to manage them.
Where to Find Team Member Management
Go to the Team Members and Resources → Team Members section in the main menu of your business. Here you'll find a list of all team members.
Adding a New Team Member
- In the Team Members section, click the New Team Member button
- Fill in basic information:
- Name - team member's name
- Email - email address (must be unique)
- Phone (optional) - phone number
- Click Save
The new team member will receive an email with an invitation to create an account in Meety. If they already have an account in Meety, they will be added to the team and will also receive an email notification.
Editing a Team Member
Clicking on a team member in the list opens their details, where you can edit:
- Personal Information - name, email, phone
- Photo - team member's avatar
- About Me - short description that will be displayed to clients on the booking page when selecting a service or in the "Team" section (if enabled)
- Role - team member's permissions
- Services - which services the member can provide
- Availability for Reservations - whether the member is available for online reservation. If disabled, this member won't appear on the booking page, but you can create reservations for them manually in the calendar.
Personal Information
Name
The team member's name is displayed in the calendar, on the booking page and in emails. You can change it anytime.
Email is used for sign-in and sending notifications. If you change the email, the new member will receive an invitation to the new address and the original member will lose access.
Warning: Changing the email will affect the member's access to the business. Make sure you know who the new email address belongs to.
Phone
The phone number is optional, used for SMS notifications and in notifications to clients.
Photo (Avatar)
The team member's photo is displayed on the booking page, in the calendar and in other parts of the product for quick identification between members.
Uploading a Photo
- Click on the team member
- In the Personal Information section, click Upload Photo
- Select an image from your device
- The photo will automatically upload and display
We recommend using a square image with good resolution.
Team Member Description
The description is displayed to clients on the booking page when they select a specific team member. It can contain information about expertise, experience or special skills.
Adding a Description
- Click on the team member
- In the About Me section, enter a description
- The description is saved automatically
The description can be multilingual and will be displayed in the client's language.
Removing a Team Member
If you want to remove a team member:
- Click on the team member
- Click the Remove Member button
- Confirm removal
Warning: Removing a team member is permanent. The member will lose access to the business, but their existing appointments will remain preserved.
Arranging Team Members
You can arrange team members as needed. The order is used on the booking page when displaying team member selection for reservations, in the "Team" section and in the calendar. In the calendar (in day view), you can also sort members additionally.
Changing the Order
- In the team member list, grab and drag a team member with your mouse to the desired position in the list
- The order is saved automatically

Is it possible to create custom availability for team members in the calendar? Yes, more in the availability article.
What happens if I change a team member's email? The new member will receive an invitation to the new email address and the original member will lose access to the business.
Can I remove a team member who has active appointments? Yes, you can remove a team member even with active appointments. Appointments will remain preserved, but the member will lose access.
How many team members can I have? On the Premium plan, the number of team members is unlimited.
Can I have a team member without a photo? Yes, a photo is optional.
