Managing Promo Campaigns

Create and manage promo campaigns to offer discounts to your clients or measure marketing campaigns.

The promo code feature in Meety allows you to create discount codes for new or loyal customers, track marketing campaigns, and create specialized versions of the booking page with different services for different purposes.

What is a promo code?

A promo code is a discount code that your clients can use when booking services. Each promo code has a name, code, discount type (percentage or fixed amount), and various restrictions. Customers can use the code either manually (if they obtained it somewhere), or it can be part of a link to your page that they came from, for example, from a marketing campaign. In that case, the code is applied automatically and customers cannot change it.

Creating a promo campaign

  1. Go to the Promo section in the main menu
  2. Click on New promo campaign
  3. Fill in the basic information (name, code, discount type and value)
  4. Click Save

Types of discounts

  1. Percentage discount The discount is calculated as a percentage of the original price. For example: €50 with a 20% discount = €40.

  2. Fixed amount discount The discount is a fixed amount deducted from the price. For example: €50 with a €10 discount = €40. If the resulting amount is less than zero, the final amount will be zero.

  3. Zero discount A promo campaign with a value of 0% or €0 does not provide a discount and customers do not see it on the booking page. However, it is useful for tracking marketing campaign results. More in the usage examples below.

Types of restrictions

For each promo campaign, you can set the following restrictions:

  • Time restrictions - start and end date of validity
  • Usage restrictions - one use per customer, total usage limit
  • Minimum purchase amount - required minimum amount to use the promo code
  • Service restriction - promo code applies only to selected services
  • Team member restriction - promo code applies only to services provided by selected team members (other team members are not displayed on the booking page)
  • Specific customer restriction - only selected customers can use the promo code

Usage examples

Sharing campaigns via social media

Instagram post:

  • Create a promo code "INSTAGRAM20" with a 20% discount
  • Get a direct link to the booking page with this promo code
  • Share the link in an Instagram post or stories
  • Customers click on the link and the promo code is automatically applied

Email campaign:

  • Create a promo code "NEWSLETTER15" with a 15% discount
  • Use the direct link in an email newsletter
  • Track how many newsletter subscribers created a booking

Creating a specialized booking page

Tip: When you limit the promo code to only selected services or team members, you effectively create a separate version of the booking page that displays only these services and members.

Example: Group lessons for beginners:

  • Create a promo code "BEGINNER" with a 10% discount
  • Select only services for beginners (e.g., "Yoga for Beginners", "Pilates Basics")
  • Get a direct link to the booking page
  • This page will display only the selected services for beginners
  • Share the link on social media or in emails

Example: V.I.P. services:

  • Create a promo code "VIP" with a 25% discount
  • Select only premium services (e.g., "Premium Massage", "Exclusive Treatment")
  • Create a separate booking page with only premium services
  • Use it for loyal customers or special occasions

Example: Discount for a new employee who is being trained

  • Create a promo code "NEWBIE" with a 50% discount
  • Select only a specific new team member (e.g., "Jane Doe")
  • Limit the promo code to only selected services that the employee being trained provides
  • Get a direct link to the booking page with this promo code
  • Share the link with customers who want to try the new employee's services at a discounted price, for example on social media

Example: Seasonal offers:

  • Create a promo code "WINTER" with a 20% discount
  • Select only winter services (e.g., "Winter Massage", "Relaxation Treatment")
  • Create a specialized page for the winter season

This way, you can create an unlimited number of specialized versions of the booking page for different campaigns, target groups, or occasions.

Measuring paid campaigns

Google Search campaigns:

  • Create a promo code "GOOGLE-SEARCH" with a 0% discount
  • Enable "Allow for campaigns"
  • Copy the link to the page with the promo code and use it in Google Ads as the landing page
  • Track the exact number of bookings that were created directly from visits from paid ads

Re-engaging and rewarding loyal customers

  • Create a promo campaign, set the discount and expiration time (e.g., one month ahead).
  • Enable the option "Allow use in booking form".
  • Share the code with your loyal customers via email or in person.
  • Customers can use the code when creating a booking.

Restrictions and rules

Time restrictions

Set the start and end date of the promo code validity. If dates are not set, the promo is valid indefinitely.

Usage restrictions

  • One use per customer - each customer can use the promo code only once
  • Total usage limit - set the maximum number of uses for the promo code

Minimum purchase amount

Require a minimum purchase amount to use the promo code.

Service restriction

Key feature: Select the services to which the promo code applies. If no services are selected, the promo code applies to all services. When you select specific services, you create a specialized version of the booking page that displays only these services.

Team member restriction

Limit the promo code to only services provided by selected team members. Team members who are not selected will not be displayed on the booking page with this promo campaign.

Specific customer restriction

Limit the promo code to only selected customers.

How promo code application works

When a customer creates a booking and enters a promo code, the system automatically:

  1. Checks if the promo code is active and valid
  2. Checks all restrictions (dates, limits, minimum amount, customer, services, members)
  3. If all checks pass, the discount is applied to service prices
  4. After a successful booking, the promo code usage counter is increased

Analytics

In the details of each promo campaign, you can see:

  • Current number of uses (and remaining number of uses, if applicable) and customers
  • Total revenue from the promo campaign
  • List of bookings that used this promo code

Activation and deactivation

You can activate or deactivate a promo campaign at any time. A deactivated promo campaign remains in the system, but customers cannot use the promo code. If there is no active promo code that can be used in the form, the option to enter a promo code will not be displayed to customers.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have multiple active promo campaigns at the same time?
Yes, you can have an unlimited number of active promo campaigns. Each promo campaign has a unique code within your facility.

Can a customer use multiple promo codes at once?
No, for each booking, a customer can use only one promo code.

How do I create a separate version of the booking page?
Select specific services, and optionally team members, in the promo campaign settings. When a customer uses this promo code (via direct link or manually), only the selected services will be displayed. This way, you effectively create a separate version of the booking page that you can share.

Can I use a promo code with zero value to track campaigns?
Yes, promo codes with a value of 0% or €0 are ideal for tracking marketing campaigns without providing a discount. You can measure the effectiveness of your paid ads (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) or other marketing channels.

How does a promo code work with multiple services?
If a customer selects multiple services and the promo code applies to all selected services, the discount is applied to each service.
