Learn how membership cards work and how your clients can use them for bookings.

What is a membership card?

Membership cards are digital subscription cards that contain a certain number of entries for specific services. Ideal for clients who regularly use your services.

When a client purchases a membership card with multiple entries at once, they can get a better price compared to individual bookings, for example 4 entries for the price of five. It's a simple way to offer a better price when purchasing a larger quantity of entries.

How does it work?

Purchasing a membership card

Membership cards can be created in two ways:

Online purchase:

  1. Clients can purchase a membership card online on your booking page
  2. When creating a membership card, you can set:
    • Number of entries for each service
    • Validity of the membership card (expiration date)
  3. After successful payment, the client automatically receives an email with:
    • Unique membership card code
    • Information about the number of entries for each service
    • Usage instructions

Manual creation by staff:

  1. Staff can create a membership card manually directly in the system
  2. When creating, they can set all parameters (number of entries, expiration)
  3. The membership card can be paid in cash on-site
  4. After creation, staff can edit the membership card (change number of entries, expiration date, etc.)
  5. The client receives an email with the membership card code and information

Using a membership card

When booking a service, the client:

  1. Selects the service and time
  2. Enters the membership card code in the membership card field
  3. The system automatically:
    • Verifies the validity of the membership card
    • Checks if the membership card contains available entries for the requested service
    • If yes, uses one entry and reduces the number of available entries
  4. If the membership card doesn't contain entries for the given service, booking is not possible

Frequently asked questions

Can a membership card contain entries for multiple services?
Yes, a membership card can contain a different number of entries for different services. For example, 10 entries for group classes and 5 entries for individual therapy.

What happens when all entries are used up?
The membership card is automatically deactivated and the client can no longer use it. However, they can purchase a new membership card, or you can manually "recharge" the existing membership card in the Meety system (and they can pay you on-site in cash).

How do I find out the number of remaining entries?
The client can find out the number of remaining entries when attempting to use the membership card, or have the membership card status sent by email, or check the status on the membership card details they received upon purchase. Staff can find out the number of remaining entries directly in Meety by searching for the membership card by code or client.

Can a membership card expire?
Yes, when creating a membership card, you can set an expiration date. After this date, the membership card is deactivated, even if there are unused entries remaining.

Can staff create a membership card manually?
Yes, staff can create a membership card manually directly in the system. The membership card can be paid in cash on-site and can be subsequently edited (change number of entries, expiration date, etc.).
